I messed up Big!
Long story short I was on a trail ride with some friends last weekend and I did a number on my truck. We were going though decent size water holes when I hit just enough speed to send the water over to hood and up the airbox, into the motor. It stalled right out right as I coasted out of the hole. Didn't even try and start it because I knew why it stalled... I pulled the plugs and shoot the all the water out and put everything back together and drove home. After changing the oil and air filter it runs fine other than the fact it wont go over 3000 rpms. The check never came on other than today when I went to move the in my driveway.
But I have a full warrenty.. Yes I know it doesnt cover f ups but should I do, check and or clean before bringing it in? I cleaned the truck outside and underneath aswell as a quick vac inside. No water got in the cab or any thing. So any tips as to what to tell them?
Heres a video of what happened http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvuoHz-Vs4c

don't worry......Before taking it in, I'd take off your intake tube, wash it good, clean it. Take off your throttle body, clean it. Even more importantly, clean your MAF. I use CRC MAF Cleaner...and it works well....I use it on every oil change. Might also want to use Seafoam through the brake booster vaccum line, then swap in new plugs.
I'd first try those out before venturing over to the dealer.
