I'd pay $900 if it ran and drove good with no immediate major problems and most everything working.

Just as a reference, I bought a 1995 Explorer Sport 4WD for $950. Ran and drove great. Its problem was rust. I drove it for 6 months, 10,000 miles, beat the krap out of it, tore it up off road, then gave it to my parents as partial payment for the Ranger. It was a fun ride, but the rust had taken its toll and I was looking at a lot of stuff to repair...brake lines, body mounts, radiator mounts, etc. It always started right up and I drove it 40 miles round trip to work. If this thing is a POS, don't get it. If it doesn't need anything big, then why not if the price is right.

 

i am highly considering it......waiting on more body pictures....if the body pictures turns out good, then I will be on my way to Dayton, OH on Sunday....

 

Too bad on the second one, a clean machine. As for the first, 500-700max. It's a beater.

 

here is more pictures of the one in Dayton, OH I am looking at getting....the only problem with it is it will not start......The owner says it has plenty of spark, and the starter turns over....I think it is a fuel delivery problem since the current owner has replaced all the electrical parts on it (starter, distributor, plugs, wires, etc.)....he is pretty solid on $1000....it has Explorer rear leaf springs, Explorer front coils (4.0 coils), 30x9.50x15 BFG A/T's (about 15,000 miles on them), and American Racing wheels...
