Hopefully my last problem for awhile!!
So recently I've noticed some funny tire wear on my front left. Since I've had the truck I've fought with trying to eliminate some alignment issues. The tech always says they can't get it any better without a further explanation. I have new tires, replaced my sway bar end links, and have gotten my fronts balanced numerous times. It's gotten worse as in shaking hard under braking. Since then I replaced the rotors and barked pads. This did NOTHING... Also one funny thing that has happened is my lugs got loose to the point where it was making new noises. I thought maybe I had the endplay wrong when I replaced the rotors. The nut was a little loose but not real bad. My bearings are new also. What the hell is wrong with my truck???? Idk what else to replace at this point!!? I appreciate your help guys!!!

What YEAR?
Reads like its time to replace lower ball joints and also upper ball joints
On some years you need to change upper A-frame, with ball joint, to add camber/castor adjustment because they didn't have that on BOTH sides from the factory
That's why YEAR is important
Also 2WD or 4WD matter
Abnormal tire wear often means lower ball joints are bad
Unable to do full alignment usually means camber/castor adjustment is not available

Ok soo last night I drove it, not far, and it seemed sooo much better. Today I get in and do some highway speeds and it's still happening although it's an improvement. I did preload the bushings and all. I'm gonna try tightening them some more and hopefully that will do it. Oh and of course do the other side!!! 😅😳

Ok my Ranger is an 07 2wd xlt regular cab. After changing both (worn out) upper ball joints, (I did both entire uppers) it's really made an improvement. I still get just a little spot of shaking while braking though. Mash harder and it stops. I put new rotors on while this problem was ongoing so I'm wondering if a rotor resurfacing will fix that. Or do you guys think my lower ball joints need to be done too??? Or do you think my newish tires have just worn funny from the issue and need to be rotated?? My alignment is spot on though!! I really appreciate y'all's help. This has been getting worse for about a yr!!!
