Yeah i can't wait to see it in person... He said its the 2.9 V6

is that engine any good?

pretty much an old 3.0L lol i can't say much though since i've never driven a 2.9 yet so.. stig would know he had one in the first Stig truck..

Its a great motor, I have worked on one many times out of an 87 bII. They last a long time and get fairly good mpg as well. Very easy to work on the power is a little bit lacking but they are peppy

Nope he had the 2.3. Good looking truck my 87 will be the same color.

The a 4.0 is just a bored out 2.9, i believe they're a very good motor.

Why do you say that stone? All the ones I have had to toy with have been really good motors overall.

everyone one i have ever dealt with has had so many issues... from ever heating to timing to cracked heads to running like pure ***.. never liked that motor

That's first gen right? Paint it a nice shiny black and lower it, I love that look. Although it doesn't work with any other gen of the ranger.
