At the end of December, I'm gonna have 4 KC's off of the 'decommishioned' rallye car.

Besides a roof rack/bar, how do y'all have your lights mounted?
I was thinking 2 on the bumper, and mounting 2 by the side mirrors maybe?

It'ld be a waste to only mount 2 of those bad boys...

Just looking for ideas...

Bush Trivia ?

My Old Setup:

Sold the Brushguard and the Lights

Brushguard was a Genuine Steel Full Grille Guard sprayed with Line-X
Lights were Piaa 520 Chrome and Black Series

Why is it a waste to only mount 2? I have felt the need for more than foglights/headlights, but unless you are looking for rock lights all around, you only need 2 flooding lights especially if you rarely offroad.

My theory has always been "You don't have too many lights until you have no more room."

Two are pointed outwards, and each has it's own switch. The two center ones are on a switch together. I have two rear lights mounted under my bumper on another switch.

It's a crummy picture, before I had my digital camera, but this is the setup for the switches.

I've got 2 on my front grille guard, pointed straight, then I've got 4 on my roof bar, not wired yet, but the center 2 will be wired like ranger-punkin's, with the outside 2 turned out slightly, but both will be wired together....

I also have two work/reverse lights mounted on my stock roof rack, wired together....

I agree, but it's tough to let something that's paid for just sit there... and no, I won't be selling them, just in case we rally again at a later time. :)
I probably will end up just using 2 on the bumper, not a fan of a brush gaurd on my truck.

Here's how the KC's are mounted now....

Pretty neat set up... of course center 2 straight, outer 2 angled. All 4 are on the same switch, and are hooked into a relay so that when you kill your high beams, they all turn off. Also means that you have to have the highs on for the KCs to be on, but hey, you want it to be bright, right?

Hey Punkin, I've got those KC reverse lights too. They REALLY help backing up at night (especially since I have 18% tint on my rear over the factory tint) You're pics *ALMOST* make me miss my '91 XLT. :D

Mine are on an On-Off-On switch a few inches under the headlamps switch. They come On wik the reverse lights, or are Off completely (for when the tailgate is on), or are On independant of the reverse lights.

Thanks y'all
