Why do you say that?

Reuglar gasoline is no diffrent that Premium Gasoline. Other than the octane rating. The octane rating only rates the fuel’s resistance to engine knocking.

It is your money so buy the gas you wanna buy.

Hopefully your not the type to believe the gasoline commercials saying there gas is better than anyone else's

"Put a tiger in your tank," says a classic advertising tagline. In today's motoring world, what kind of fuel grade will have the power to place a beast in your gas tank?

The answer, according to experts who study fuel efficiency in detail, is both regular and premium gasoline. And it would be a waste of money to favor premium over regular, especially in these times when gasoline prices are high, according to the experts.

Virtually nothing is gained by filling up with a premium or more expensive grade of fuel than the vehicle manufacturer has recommended, the experts say. And many of the same experts explain that drivers may not lose much performance from their cars by using a lower grade of fuel than recommended by the car manufacturer.

actually i'm glad you posted that pic.. not only for the reg gas price but the diesel price. it also is finally going down... good news for the coming winter. heating oil is also dependent on the diesel price.. without tax..
we can't burn reg gas in our furnaces.

honestly i didnt know that just read that artical pretty interesting, figured it was better for the truck since it was a higher octance.. haha sorry didnt mean to really put it that way I just learned somthing yea...

so the new question is doesn't regular burn faster than premium or super though? I've run all 3 and haven't noticed much of a difference.. but in reality does one burn faster than the other?

2.51 for gas? im moving to florida! still 3.35 here

No one doesn't burn faster than the other the are ALL the same thing just different octane.

E85 will burn faster than regular gas but that's a whole other thread and dont get me started on that government propaganda.

DON'T EVER listen to those stupid shell commercials or any other gasoline commercial claiming there gas is "better" it's false

Mom and Dads service station's gas is the same as BP's gas and the same as shells gas

They are sitting back and laughing at you when you buy the premium gas when you could settle for the regular gas.

Only time you need premium gas is if the car says you HAVE to use it

2.54 here. About the bruning quicker. Most gas has about 10% ethanol added to it to boost the octane rating. Some companies put more in and it will burn faster.
