Im not happy happy about the falling a prices, our economy here is driven by oil companies right now, Im a afraid if the price of oil drops any further and these companies start laying off these jobs that are paying a minimum of about $60,000 right now....

AMEN. I know when I had the SRT-4 people were converting to be able to use E-85, as it was almost as close to race fuel. The forced induction people should love E-85.

it's going down too fast.....

a 22% drop in price of any commodity in 2 weeks is a not a good thing...

we may be gleefully filling our tanks now, but remember if you have no job it won't matter if the price of gas is 0.75 a gallon.. you won't be able to afford it.

Shell here in the southern Calif desert is $3.09. ARCO the local discount gas company is $2.93. That's down almost $1 a gal from August 1, and about $.60 or so in the last 4 weeks.

I know it is good news for a lot of American jobs. However us Americans currently laid off It is kinda nice only getting about $115.00 a week from Missouri when I am use to bringing home $600.00+ a week

I'm currently working small jobs for people just to make extra money. I don't have to do that I can use my savings to survive. Our CD accounts just recently rolled over so I would be penalized heavily for withdrawing money

Someone who plans ahead will be able to survive. When people get laid off you can really tell fast who is living above there means. People need to stop living high off the hog, and buy what they need not what they want or just because some one on the street has one.

When I was still working, I kept 5-6 MONTHS of expenses in my savings account. Was told more times then I can remember that I was crazy to keep that much in a "low interest" account. Wonder what those guys would say to me today. Yes, even though I'm retired and getting a pension and soc. sec. I still keep that amount in the bank.

precisely. the reductions in the gas prices makes me want to conserve even more.. all across the board... because i know it will get even worse over all before it gets better. cash is king. save now while you have the chance.

read this: http://arclightzero.wordpress.com/20...boycott-myths/

The government is making way more on taxes the average in '07 was 47 cents if I remember correctly. Where as the oil company's are making about half that. The oil company's are making some much $$$ cause of the volume of oil they produce....
