I'm in he school of thought of the harder the part is to change later, the better quality should be for in that part.
If it's a MAF sensor, try a generic part. It's a few bux and simple to change.
If its the fuel pump, that SOB is hard to get to, so look to investing a few more bux to ensure quality.
I still have my stock one running in my 2003. I'm sold on Motorcraft when it goes out in a few more decades

I put in a pump I got from Rock Auto last weekend. US Motorworks USEP8707. 2011 Ranger 4.0. Now the fuel gauge doesn’t register correctly. Shows full when filled up but drops rapidly. Low fuel light comes on and there’s still 9+ gallons in the tank. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
