94 2.3l 2wd Ranger 110K

Hello.
So, it suddenly looks like I'm needing to replace the water pump (coolant coming out of the front. Could be the thermostat housing that I just replaced the thermostat several months ago). Being the age and mileage, I am assuming it is the pump. Thought I would replace the timing belt while I'm at it. Also contemplating the front crankshaft seal. Now, I'm looking at the seals on Rockauto. and the Fel-Pro description says that the oil pan gasket is also needed. Does one take the oil pan off to replace the crankshaft seal?
