Ford Ranger Thunder

First South American got them, now the UK gets a great Ranger. Friggin Ford is starting to bug me. Quit pushing the SportTrac down my face and upgrade the Ranger.

Personally I think the STX looks like crap. If it had side skirts and a rollpan then it might be worth buying.

seriously, all you have to do is ask the dealership you're buying it from. if they think they will sell a vehicle they will bend over backwards for you. just ASK! side skirts? ask! they MAY (not a definate) be able to find some for you. same for roll pan. dealerships dont just deliver and sell parts to other dealerships. do your homework too, it'll help. find a custom shop nearby and get the number and price of the parts, tell the salesman that you also want these parts on the truck. you wont get it free....but if you want the truck to look right from the factory....it CAN come alot closer than you think.

i think they put these new trucks in foreign markets to test them and see how well they sell before selling them here....which really sucks, we should be the first to see everything considering fords american.

btw how much is 17lbs... maybe ill have my cusiun get one for me before hes deployed back to the states

Does anyone have any clue what it would cost to ship one of those oer here? I think it would be pretty sweet to just order one and have it shipped over to the US.

Heh..more than u want to pay..not to mention some stering wheels are on the wrong side...and then they have to pass tests to concidered to be legal in the us..they have to have certain stuff on it to pass the laws...and some times it dont work with their vehicles and then u have to pay to make it legal....this is what my friend said when he was tryin to get a car from Italy and it didnt pass us inspections..mite be diff now tho..call and ask...im sure it wont hurt.

Those trucks are Mazdas with Ford name plates. Its just like how in the US the Mazdas are basically Rangers with a few cosmetic changes. Over there it is the other way around, Mazda builds the Ranger based on their B series pickup that hasn't been available in the US Since '93.
