Don't put the LED strips in the housings. I think you can come up with something better

I'm kinda curious what the blinker reflector would look like blacked out. The bulb itself produces plenty of light. It just looks odd to see the big blinker reflector on a black background.

Since you haven't sealed it, maybe you could cover it with black tape and test it out

How'd you mount them did you just dremel out the hole more then use the nut on the back to tighten em in?

Yeah. I opened the hole up to the outer ring on the hole then I used the Gasket and Nut to Tighten it down and Then I will seal it up with silicone.

What if you had your stock ones aimed at a dealership, then took the adjusters off those and put them on the projectors?

Unless the aiming for stock lights and projectors are way different

And yeah the aiming of projectors is way different than the stock housings. My original housings where aimed perfect before and now they were aimed really low.

That works for getting your rotational alignment correct. and for him he cut out the oval in the reflector so he had to set the projector somewhat straight.

how do ya aim em if you just lock it into place with the projector nut on the back just kinda of spin it until its at the right level?

Yeah the line is supposed to be straight across You rotate them till that is correct then you seal it up with some silicone so it will stay. If I were to cut the reflector to recess the bowl further into the housing I would have used screws to hold it in there and that would have made them harder to adjust the rotational. If you go onto http://www.hidplanet.com and create an account they have lots of useful info as well as Here and Here and Here

Wireing Is easy as store bought cake. It is a harness almost just like the other HI/LOW Kits like DDM... It comes with the kit.. I just had to switch 2 wires around in the connector

Note to self and others Do NOT Cover the headlight lens with anything ie. Shirt, I did it and this happened

863657a3.jpg?t=1299191481

I put the shirt over the light while aiming the other light and the shirt cause excess heat buildup in the Housing and the Headlight Lens Melted
