hm...I read dealerships dont like modded vehicles, because they have to sell them at auctions for that reason, but for private sales, I would think people would be drawn to a vehicle that is modded. So you would sell your truck for the 3k it books at if you were selliing and you have TONS of sweet stuff on your rig?

the problem with a modded vehical is that unless you know for a fact that the person who did the mods has a clue as to wtf their doing, its a toss up as to wether those 'mods' will come back to haunt you. Its like, if you lift your truck, even tho it was done right, and looks good, your overall value goes down because now your adding more wear and tear to the vehical. People like stock vehicals cause then there are no surprises. and also, if you modified it, and now are selling it, people question why your selling it after you put so much time and effort into it.
This is why, I havent done anything major to my truck. I dont know if im keeping it or not, so why lose money on a modified vehical?
often times vehicals that are modified require more maintenece than a non modded vehical.

yea, i agree with the mod part. My dad said my truck looked like it was lifted. He said i hope they knew what they were doing and didnt f it up.
So i agree people look down on a truck that has been messed with a lot.
I on the other hand figure if they did it they would do it right being that it was a lift job, and they wouldnt want it to fall of going down the road.
sucks to buy it though wish i had a mommy or a daddy that would buy me acar.

heck alot of times it HURTS a sale. people like stock vehicles when they go to buy

when i look at cars I look to see what they did to them, the more stock the better.
Wheels would be an exception though. I think they can add value and are something that normally does not hurt the sale of the vehicle. either way i think mine is worth little to nothing any more. I dont really care tho, not planning on selling it.

Good luck selling it in MN. I had my Ranger Level II for sale in MN for many moons, for about 12K with 41K miles. I got a total of three phone calls from Minnesotans, and not one person actually came and looked at it. All of the interest I got was from way out of state (Fl, New york, MI) and I sold it to a gent from MI, for 11,500. Well Below book for trade at the time.

I looked at all your mods and I have to agree sortof, with everyone. Your mods will not really help the value of the vehicle BUT
they do help it look more of an excellent or well taken care of vehicle. It's like fresh paint on a new house, people like something shiny.
And as for pricing, I got my 2004 4wd FX4 with 38K for 13K 1 year ago. Just to help you on pricing.

You are better off taking it to stock and selling the after market stuff seperately.
