agreed. if your mirrors are set up properly, you don't really need to look out there. use the back window, a car is gonna be longer then the distance from the back edge of the front window to the back window. you should be able to see either the front or rear of the car.

Pretty much... I watch my mirrors ALL the time so someone really has to sneak up on me for me to not know they're coming. Between the front window and the rear window that ext. window isn't really needed...

on the 04 and 05's with the seat in the 'regular' position, it blocks part of the back window and the quater window. Makes it a btch on the thruway.

As a result, I put mine all the way back, which pretty much eliminates the problem.

As far as those wide angle stick on mirrors, the problem with those, is that your too far away (in the drivers seat) to effectively judge distance if its stuck to your passenger mirror. They work well on larger trucks because the wide angle mirror is much larger.

Guess you're a short guy, because I can see fine. Only blind spot I have is on the drivers side where the seat belt is attached to.

I have blind spot mirrors AND I lean my passenger seat back just enough to see out of the small window.

wheres the 'i know how to drive' option? what really is going to be hiding in that one small spot? either look out your passenger window or look out the back and you can see any car that might be there

Convex mirrors, Spyder eyes makes a good set... learn to use them... I tow a trailer with my truck often, makes towing a breeze...

other option is get the 06+ mirrors and then some convex mirrors.. even better...
