Zach, is that why is whines? how does it kill it?
I figured since it pretty much like an electric motor, it can be mounted sideways, or vertically.

Great, now you have me worried. First thing tomorrow morning, i'll move it though. thanks.

my question is when you sound it, do you have to hold the button down thru the whole cycle?

for one in the instructions it tells you not too. now there is a pump inside that has to be around oil thats why there is a oil hole and your suposed to put oil in every so often and if you dont. then the pump just wears out and sideways it is really bad for the pump

I've wanted dixe horns forever too! Now I'm gonna wait till prices go down cause of the move. I like behind the grill how well do they hold up against mud and water?

On a sidenote did anyone else feel that the movie didn't do the original justice, I mean it was funny but it not nearly as good as the original series. And in the end uncle jessie is smoking pot? WTF is up with that? I've seen every episode from seasons 1 through four and never once did he do that.

go to Jcwhitney.com there dixie horn is still the same price its around $60 its always been that price and thats a wolo horn which is what was used on the original general lee.

Yea....I blew up one of my old compressorsa few years back on my International...sent it in...$10 got a new one. Plus mounting it sideways, doesn't get the oil through the system/gears and such....bye bye compressor in the near future.
