crossmember?

crossmember?

where can i get a new front crossmember (not the right word) but its the piece right behind the valence that connects the two lengths of the frame together... dealer or junkyard are my only options??

yeah.. i mounted my tow hooks there and they bent it... im gonna mount some diff. tow hooks that shouldnt bend it, but i cant bend this one back, so i need a new one

to bend it back you have to heat it up. i bent the crap out of mine. had to heat it up red hot then hit it with a sledge hammer. fun times.

i know i thought about that, but i dont have anything to do it...

any of you TX guys got one? maybe one of you Lone Star Ranger guys could help me with this when we meet on the 8th

I'm in the same boat as you, I was looking at having something custom made. I found this on a ranger, apparently its a piece off a toyota:
