Crap, so what do I do?

Crap, so what do I do?
Okay, so a few of you know I was going to buy this ranger in a couple weeks... well, I found out she's selling it sooner than expected and its not going to work out for me financially.
So... here's the deal. In a couple months I'll have about 10k to spend on a ranger (for sure a ranger). I want a 4x4 V6 with no more than about 75k miles (fleetside).
I've noticed there like NO standard cabs either. Are they rare or something?
Anyway, is there a certain year that I should shoot for? Or something else I should consider?

dude edge doesnt matter.
There's a huge thing to remember man! Rangers are basically the SAME from 93-06. You can buy a 98 4x4 supercab 4x4 ranger for cheap and for a few hundred bucks you can buy the parts to make it look EXACTLY like a 01-03 ranger. No joke, its very simple and saves you thousands.

Sport, Edge, whatever. Both are fine.
I was thinking between 99 and 01.
I truly want a Regular Cab 4x4 though!
Did some searching. For the price I'm looking at, there's no way I'll find a 4x4 regular cab with 75k miles anywhere near me. Let alone less milage.
We'll see...

i had a very hard time looking for a ranger 98-01 for under 10k when my last truck got totaled and no one was under 10 with under 130k miles. i finaly found one at a side dealer.
why not the XLT's thats what i have and i love it, not much diffrence and i like my big chrome front bumper.

not even trying there are 35 rangers on autotrader for less than 11k within 300 miles of me
all 4wd
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/search...or=&x=131&y=12
but i think you need to keep saving if you really want an 01+ because if you have 10 now you will have more in a couple years and will beable to afford the one you really want.

I would, but like I said, its gonna take me a few months to get it.
For those suggesting XLT, no. Especially since all the cabs seem to be the extended cabs, its gotta be a 4x4 XLT.

back on subject, I see your in Mesa, My grand parents have a winter home there. From what I see it's probably tough to find 4X4 there. I have the opposite problem, I want an Low mileages, 94-96 Fleetwood Cadillac, and I can't find one here, but I bet you are alll stocked up! LOL
Godd luck with your search, up here you would have your pick of the litter in Rangers (maybe cause they're made her) For 10K
