2000 Ranger with 3.0l engine
Should always include that

Change the brand of radiator you are using

Is the engine overheating at all?
Even if its over heating that shouldn't cause radiator to leak

Coolant/water expands when heated, that's where the pressure in the radiator/engine comes from
Rad Cap is rated at 14 or 16psi pressure, over that and it releases coolant in to the overflow tank, then after cool down is sucks the coolant back in, its a two valve rad cap
If rad is leaking with less than 25psi pressure then rad is/was defective, they should hold pressure up to 40psi at least, hoses should blow off before rad leaks

Electric cooling Fan?
Nice addition

3.0l does have a reverse flow water pump, and fan belt can be put on backwards over the water pump pulley
So rule of thumb is "match the ribs and flat sides on the belt"
If a pulley has ribs then rib side of belt should be on it, if pulley is flat(no ribs) then flat side of belt is on it
I believe the 3.0l has a ribbed water pump pulley

I have seen belts put on wrong many many times, but that just cause running warm , over normal, should over heat too bad

Serpentine IA installed correctly. I have never seen anybody install a fan belt backwards with ribs facing upward. It keeps cracking the radiator right under the top of radiator hose does not come off or busts. I should've had an auto electric shop hook up electric fan. I'm going back to clutch. I've had nothing but problems since swap.

If its cracking at upper rad hose connection then its a flaw in that brands plastic mold, a weak spot
Rubber rad hose flexes so can't transfer any stress from the engine moving to the connection

I can't even see over tightened clamps causing an issue, but you may want to lighten up that, its is plastic after all, lol

I have regular hose clamps on it, don't have to tighten them. I just changed my electric fan back to clutch fan running great. When I have tge money I'll buy the dual fans with shroud from summit. I'll have Rileys auto electric in Homosassa FL do the install for me.
