Chirping noise in engine 07 XLT 4x4 3l TD

I have this chirping bird like noise in my engine. Normally after it warms up like 20 mins after first start up, my mechanic has changed all the belts and replaced tensioner kit!! The noise is in the top of engine towards the back, it seems to be worse when I accelerate. My mechanic is lost for ideas can anyone help please?

Camshafts synchronizer. Replace it asap, it's a common issue with 3.0's around 80,000-100,000 miles. If you don't and it fails you will lose the engine.

Looks like he might have a 3.0 turbo diesel (aka - International Ranger)....does this 'issue' still apply? lol

Not a whole lot of international people on this board from what I can remember. I'm having troubles even finding out specifics of the engine. This is a little blurb I found on Wiki:

3.0 (Mazda WEC)
A 3.0L Mazda W-engine similar to the 2.5 is also used in the 2007 Ranger as the top of the range. Displacement is increased with a wider bore of 96mm and longer stroke of 102mm. It produces 156 PS (115 kW; 154 hp)@3200 rpm and 380 N·m (280 lb·ft)@1800 rpm.
The W-engine family remains a Mazda engine and has no commonality to "Puma"

Thanks Gents, sorry to jump on but there doesn't seem to be too may forums in Aus and im a bit worried.
I took it to the local Ford Dealer service dept today and they have never heard of anything being a problem. but did explain that there may be a oil line problem being blocked and not pushing up into the head, causing friction with metal on metal which would explain the noise, they reccomend taking the head off and gegtting it cleaned out and checked and checking all of the oil lines to it for blockages, then should be good, but im still sceptical....
