just remember on eBay it pays to be a "sniper"...and remember this rule
Bid ONCE and bid your MAX...
That way you will never get caught up in a bidding war for an item. Also remember when someone out bids you, it costs you not one but TWO bid increments at minimum to reclaim the lead.
BTW, I am shopping for a gauge cluster with a tach as my "new to me ranger" doesn't have a tach and saw the one you are after. I think it's a sharp addition. But not to worry I want just the pain balck original...see, I am sorta kinda a old dull guy.... :D
Hope ya WIN!!
PS: in the case some does not know what "snipping" means in eBay terms. It means to bid in the closing seconds of an auction. Some people feel it gives an unfair advantage to the snipper, but that is not true. It simply helps people have fun bidding in a way different from real world auctions or even the standard eBay auction. This are timed auctions so it is always the highest bid that wins no matter when it was placed.

Blhde:
I use AuctionTamer to do my sniping for me...I have a server online here all the time so I just run Auction Tamer in the background on that machine. I like the tracking feature for keeping tabs on oodles of auctions:
http://www.auctiontamer.com
btw, it is basically the same folks as the Auction Stealer people...
sorry for the hijack...just wanted to follow up on the eBay bidding stuff...
Keeping fingers crossed for Mark to win the gauge set!!
