Can't tell what's broken

The other night, my struck died while coasting down a hill. Started up, but cut out. Eventually started and ran, but had a rough idle. Did fine when pressing accelerator. Lights stayed on. Got it home and it sat a day and won't start. Battery level is low, about 1/3. Plugs have spark. Sounds like it's going to turn over but never does, like it's not getting gas.
I need to get it fixed quick but can't tell if the alternator or fuel pump. All the fuses look good. Relays seem fine.
any ideas?

Give it a couple shots of ether, if it runs a bit, that'll tell you it's probably a fuel problem.

Battery level is low??????
About 1/3??

What does that mean, a good battery will measure 12.3v to 12.8volts, under that is a bad/dead battery, so very narrow spread of .5 volts for a good battery
