Buying "modded" headlights

Since there is no way that I could properly do the headlight mod, I was thinking of buying some that were already done. Have any of you purchased any of these? If so, how did they look, what was the quality of the light, and who did you buy them from? Here is an example of some that I was looking at on ebay...

I have purchased 2 sets of those. One for a friend(he bought some too), one for my brother, and one for me. All are OEM high quality. No leaks, moisture showing....they are nice. Some come with two sets of corners.....a set of amber lense with black inside and a set of clear corners with black inside. They come with the adjusters on the back, just like stock ones. But you can carry over your stock adjusters if you wanted to...that's what i did. required no aiming that way. Don't remember where we got them...but it was an ebay seller for $140 shipped. DO IT!

Here's all the sets i've gotten...

my truck..(my corners are modded)

Those dont come with clear corners though just the amber. If your going to get the set up go full out it looks better anyway.

Those are the lights I have, and I bought mine on ebay - they were brand new - not "modded"

Dude, 24 PSI Turbo Boost.......these housings are referred to as "already modded". Even though they aren't really.

i'd rather spend the $80+ or so to buy some already blackend headlamps than trying to "bake" mine.

I wonder how the ones with the clear corners look when lit. Are they visible?

The black clear corners? Look at the pic of the white truck I posted(WowMike2001's truck). That's at sunset almost. Lights up the whole housing at dusk and dawn, and most definately at night. Not as "vivid" as chrome clear corners, but still lights the entire thing up. In pics it's hard to tell..but in real life your fine.

How do you "carry over" the stock adjusters? It would be great to not have to fool with aiming them.

Thats just stupid then. Send me yours and I'll do them for 80 bucks. A monkey could do the headlight mod.

Take your headlmp out, and look at how the adjusters mount to the lamp. I believe two of them twist on and off. The other one kinda pops off and on. Just take a look at your headlamps....I had no assistance and just kinda figured it out.
