Theres a slew of 06/07's there. I might have found one I'm interested in. I need to check on what FMC/COP wants for the red-carpet turn-in buyoff and go with 50% of it. See if they take the offer.

Its an Oxford white reg cab. Steel wheels, power-nothing 2.3/5s manual. Like a fleet truck. It has a bedliner and nothing else, just a base radio. I do NOT like the front end of it. Has the stupid looking super-duty style grill in matte black ( will be the first thing I scrap off of it ). 31,000 on the odo. I also need to pull the record jacket on it and take a look at its maintenance records.

I figure if I could snag it for 5grand, 5% financing ( I'll pay it off before its time. LONG before I bail on the DDC. ) , the payments would be roughly 90$/month.
the front end will grow on ya.. I actually quite fond of the black grill and bumpers now on my 07..

I paid 12,900 out the door for my 07 2.3 reg cab 5 speed xlt, limited slip, tinted glass and sirius radio are only options..

yea the mrsp on my truck was around 27k and my dad straight up ignored it. we walked in, got the X plan, 3k cash back, plus other "dealer bonuses", and got 0% finanicng. I was shocked at how quickley the deal went but i guess when your credit score is 830, thinks work fast for you. My dad litteraly was laughing on the way home with it (and im just stunned cause its my first car) and he says "i feel like we just stole this thing off the lot." So yea we got it down to a little over 20k...they really wanted to sell it, no one even really knew what it was that worked there, it was funny, it was and is one of a kind truck in my area.

Nice, Kieth! I got mine for 21 OTD with 0 %. Pretty much you got D plan pricing, if not better.

Right now its easy to get deals, even w/o pins.

I got my 2008 XL 2.3L/5 Speed for $11,900 out the door. The only options on it were a bedliner and bug guard.

I paid just a little over 20k for mine. But that's in Canada dollars and they weren't much more valuable then than what they are now.

I think the point is the fact that the BASE price of the ranger has INCREASED ruffly $1000 every year making the BASE ranger more and more expensive.

When I was lookign at rangers in 04, the BASE ranger was like $11,500 Now its up around 16. I got my truck for 16K...

Ford wonders why sales of the ranger is fading, its because the price of the ranger is becoming cost prohibitive to those in the market. When you consider you can get a base line F150 for around 20K wtf in their right mid is going to get a base ranger for 17K when you can get WAY more truck for 3K more?

With that said, you can get a pretty nice F150 for about 27K which is the 'top of the line ultra cheap' ranger... Unless your specifically LOOKING for a small compact truck, value vs dollars spent, your better off with an F150 hands down.
