bumpy ride

i've been goin thru these forums for quite a while now but have just never posted anything... neways

i own a 99 ranger 4wd with more than 200k on suspension and chassis and my suspension is horrible..so jumpy

i do want a suspension lift kit just to replace everything but way out of my price range since its 4x4 so i wanna ask which parts should i replace to make my ride smoother

thanks in advance,

Ball joints, tie rods, maybe torsion bars, control arms, leaf springs.

what would be cheaper.. replace everything with new stock suspension or just go ahead and purchase a suspension lift kit since i do wanna add a lift.

and it has new leaf springs, thats about it.

A suspension lift won't replace any of those things, its just drop bracketry. A RCD lift would replace the torsion bars but thats it. I would replace those things when you do a lift.

Yeah, get new ball joints, tie rods, torsion bars, & control arms as Trent said, and then a BL. Shocks you might want to update also. Might as well do it right the first time.

Duh shocks, totally forgot that lol its like 3:39 AM so I'm a little out of it. A lot of guys on here like Bilsteins and KYB MonoMaxs, I'm still on my stockers so I can't really give a opinion yet. I have a 3" BL on my truck and I'm super happy with it, you can get one new for like 180 so its not bad. Way cheaper than a SL for your truck.
