It varies from truck to truck..some trucks can get a 1in out of 1.5 turns while some have to crank it 3 turn to get the same lift. Just make sure you are on a level surface and it helps to crank while the truck on the ground and have a friend do the mesurements. After you crank it up level go and get the alingment checked out. Mine did not need it but most shops do not charge to check.

I'd level it out at least. If you wanna go more crank 'em all the way and add an AAL.

Will NOT getting an alignment chew up anything else besides the tires? Reason I ask is because I'm looking for an excuse to get some 32's and if only the tires get torn up, I'll be able to sell the wife on getting new tires sooner! Then I'll get an alignment.

..so is it right tighty or lefty loosy to crank em..and do you lift the whole truck or just one side at a time?

Jack up the front end of the truck, do one side, then do the other. Can't remember if it was a left or right turn, I'd imagine right. Either way the screw head needs to go toward the roof of the truck.
