Best Way to Remove Panel Buttons?

How do you pop the panel buttons off w/o damage? 1 screwdriver? 2 screwdrivers? Special tool?

Are they tough or do they break easy?
===============================

I accidently put this in another forum and tried 3 times to delete it - couldn't.

they actually do make a tool for it called a "panel remover" its basically the prying end of a hammer, cept on a handle...

I personally used a flat head screw driver. After taking off every panel in my truck to paint them, i broke 2 stubborn ones, but was able to get replacement ones from autozone for like 3 bucks for a package. its really up to you, I'm cheap and prefer screwdrivers and my hands.

You can get the tool above at Sears for $9. It's made by Lisle. I bought one to remove my old panel to install my 2-door jumpseat. It worked alot better than the screwdriver/plier method. I broke about half with the pliers and zero with this tool.

i use these religiously. it grabs it by the stem, and not the head. i pull x-mas tree clips (the ones that hold the plastic in the rear corners near the headliner) all day without damage.

Do you happen to have a link to that tool? I use the pickle fork style screwdriver like pictured earlier in the thread all the time and can't quite pull it off without damaging those christmas trees!
