Icon5 Bed bolt length + toolbox questions

Two part question:

1: Are the bed bolts on newer rangers long enough to accommodate bolting a tool box to the floor of the bed?

2: I'm selling my step side '01 for a regular side '11. I have a UWS tool box that was made to mount over the rails on a step side bed. Anyone know if this will fit down and in between the bed rails of a regular side bed?

Getting the '11 on Thursday

Read the first post, it is going to be too narrow to do that.

I was thinking it still may reach the rails, but not the case? I imagine it would work to use the bed bolts if you wish

The bed bolts on my 03 are only ¾” or so longer than the nut location under the truck so I for one do not think it would work out well.
Maybe a bracket to replace the washers under the head of the bed bolts near the cab and will allow you to bolt the box to the brackets.
