At 8:15am this morning, A man in a 80's Mazda RX7 crossed the center line and hit me doing about 50 mph head on. I did everything I could to avoid him. It bent the frame severly on my truck. The truck held up well, The RX7 not so much. I have some back and seatbelt strap pain. My ranger is totalled so I am looking to replace it with a 02-03 FX4 LII or any year FX4 level 2.

The man in the car is in serious condition. please pray for him. He was NOT wearing his seatbelt. I was of course.

wow.. glad your ok! not to assume, but was the guy driving the RX 7 drunk or just driving too fast, thinking his sports car can handle the road?

 

Wow that sucks. Glad you are okay. Get checked out at the hospital even if it doesn't hurt that bad. Insurance will pay for it.

Dude, that's why it's nice to drive a truck for a DD. I mean, really. You had an advantage with the life, big tires, brush guard... That's awesome! Well, not awesome, but dang look at that other car. He is lucky you didn't propel yourself right up-over the hood!

from the looks of the pics. his truck had to of been sitting of the engine when everything stopped moving, thats why the hood of the car is crushed up to the window and the bottom of the ranger is damaged

THAT is why I wear my seatbelt. It pisses me off when people try to tell me "Oh its ok, I'm not going to crash". Yeah.. what about all the OTHER drivers out there.
