You can get a front mount 2 inch receiver hitch for your 94 Ranger...check Curt C-31063 or Draw Tite 65017.
Then all you need is a hitch mount winch carrier. Will allow you to use or remove the winch as needed.
Would also allow you to use the winch on the rear if needed.
