ABS shuttering

Have a 2001 4.0L XLT super cab with rear drum brakes. I have replaced front upper and lower ball joints, front brakes, right front disc, rear drum brakes and brake drums and I still get a shutter when I brake. Not getting a code.. any clues? I think the shutter is more in the back than the front

Welcome to the forum

"Shudder" shouldn't be ABS, when ABS is active brake pedal will "Pulse", you would only feel it in the brake pedal.

If you feel it at all in the steering wheel then it is front brake/suspension issue.

Pickup trucks use 70/30 brake proportioning, 70% of brake power goes to front wheels, 30% to rear wheels.
Cars use 60/40

So unless you are braking very hard, the back brakes are not used much which is why they last 4 to 6 times longer than front brakes.

Try to describe the "shutter" better and how you feel it or if you "hear" anything when it happens.
Does it happen all the time, first 5 minutes of driving, or only after driving for 10+ minutes?

Does it only happen when braking hard, or even when lightly braking?

Was the truck "repaired" after an accident, i.e. damaged or salvaged title, so maybe there is a 4 wheel alignment issue

It seems to shutter harder after brakes warmed up and light braking around 35-40 mph..If you mash the pedal it seems to stop well.. Had new upper and lower ball joints and tie rods, new front brakes, new right front rotor, new rear brakes and drums, new shocks front and back...not sure whats next?

Only the right disc, not the left too? Brakes should always be done as axle sets. When you say brakes, I am assuming you mean the brake pads. Are the calipers binding? Did you have an alignment done after reworking the front suspension and steering?
