When taking off from the stop light, rev to 4000 rpm through the gears and see if that doesn't cure it.

Not unless you slip it by revving the engine up and trying to make the truck go when it won't ! I know this problem with this ranger will take an expert on rangers to figure out this truck used to have great power.! I have changed about every thing I can think of but something is still wrong I guess I will have to take to a for dealership to find the problem !

Hopefully Ron will post, he'll be able to help more then I can, but even if the truck was running well, you're going to have to fix the slipping clutch if you want to get off the red light with any speed.
Do you have an OBD code reader ?
When you turn the key on, do all the dash lights come on, including the "CHECK ENGINE" light ?

The clutch doesn't slip the engine is just weak and no power taking off it only has power if the rpms are up and then not like it should. When it is accelerating you can feel the engine try to surge like the power is trying to kick in I have Direct injection cleaned the injectors also . the timing is at 10 degrees as it should be. This truck gas no EGR valve neve came with one. The engine light is not on I tried to get it coded at AutoZone but the said the didn't have code reader for it. The compression checks at 140 ponds for all six cylinders the truck is a 94 and has 216,000 miles on it. And yes all the dash light work including the check engine light. But it isn't on it does work when I unhooked the oxygen sensors the light came on by the way I have installed new oxygen sensors !
