64" Chevy rpings and shackle flip
Ok guys, i kno this has probably been discussed and exhausted...however i cannot find any hard FACTS to help me kno/understand what I want to do...
So I have a 1996 4x4 ext cab ranger w/ a 3" body lift and i am wanting to do the shackle flip and 64" chevy srpings...however i have a few questions...Keep in mind that I dont want any lift whatsoever out of these srpings, just more travel and a better ride so ive heard.
1.) Can I reuse my stock shackles?
2.) If i reuse my stock shackles OR get new longer ones W/ a 3" BL will they clear the underside of the bed. ie i dont want holes in my bed.
3.) If i have to get new shackles how long will i need to keep the same ride height but gain lift.
4.) Will i need to get the springs rearched?
5.) Whats a good price for a set of springs?
6.) The limiting factor for downward wheel travel will be shocks correct?
7.) Dont think this matters whatsoever but im going to ask anyways, will this work with an 8.8 from an explorer?
Thanks, Kyle
