I have an 04 4x2 that likes to pretend its a 4x4, and right now it kinda looks like one, cuz its on 32s and its cranked a little bit. EVERYONE (even the guys at the autoparts stores) think it's a 4x4, and who am I to correct the morons who ask me if the Harley edition Ranger is anything like the Edge?!?!

Ya know being a member of this site I have changed my ideas of alot of things, 2WD trucks being one of them, I used to think 2wd trucks were crap, then I met John Griggs and Mike (sawred). Its all in how you wheel it, and I never saw a 2WD truck preform like them guys.

lol! On behalf of Mike and myself I thank you.

It's really very easy to make a 2WD perform offroad. You just have to be CRAZY!!! A psychotic desire to go too fast over obstacles is the secret -- but don't tell anyone, I'm never suppose to talk about it or else they'll come and get me in the night and drag me off to 4x2 prison...

i got a 2wd but i wanted a 4X4 but there were a few reason i got a 2wd 1. my truck was only 15,800 out the door a 4wd was over 20,000 out the door, 2. insurance was cheaper for a 2wd (isnt anymore atleast for the next 4 years), 3. gas mileage, 4. i couldnt find one that i liked.

i have a 2wd.... really really really want/ed a 4x4. i have a feeling id be gettin myself into a lot of trouble with one of them. guess its not trouble if ya dont get caught . i still have yet to see a YELLOW 4x4 - i see alot that look like they would be, but arent.

ps.... question: is it just me or did they stop making yellow rangers? i looked on ford.com and was building one (just to drool over) and i never saw yellow on the color option!!! im sure there is a way to special order it but im sure thats mucho dinero $$$$$$ ouch!

oh ya ... next ranger/truck i get WILL be a 4X4. Screw this 4X2 crap.... i wanna go play with the big boyz.

GO BIG OR GO HOME!!! lol
