4x or 2x ?

I know this isn't a 3" Lift but I wanted to state that this is a 4x with 5+ inches of lift with 33" BFG Tires and they still hit on tight corners or heavy bumps.

Know that your high center of gravity makes flipping in turns at higher speeds a serious ptobability

It’s a ranger it’s not meant for formula 1

Maybe, my '88 STX High Boy was but not sure about the EDGE.

I would have liked 6" but it is what it is !

After looking at this older picture, I like that look... Slotted Aluminum Wheel, maybe I will go back to these, LoL !

I’m pretty sure the all xlts come with a factory 2 inch block don’t quote me on that but that might be why some 4x2s need more lift than 4x4s to clear 33s

A lot of the clearance issues are due to the width of the tires and the offset of the wheels. I run 33" tires on stock FX4 Alcoa wheels with only a 1.5" T-bar crank. I take it off-road in some pretty rough conditions and don't get any rubbing. The tires are only 10.5" wide and the wheel offset is factory and that makes it work. I know most guys want wider tires with them sticking out past the fender for appearance but I go more for functionality over appearance because I take long trips off-road and looks don't get me through the bad stuff, capability does.
I also don't want too much lift because I am loaded down pretty heavy with supplies and gear for 7 to 10 days worth of camping. I go through some pretty steep side angle sometimes and want the center of gravity as low a practical. I like the look of lifted trucks but it would not work for me.
