2011 Ranger Lowering Kit 3/5...I'm New

As the title says, I have a 2011 Ranger Sport and I want to lower my truck 3" in the front and 5" in the rear but I wanted to get some more experienced opinions on the matter. I have disk brakes in the rear. I know DJM makes a 4/5 kit but I am not sure I need to go that low in the front because my rear is so much higher than my front. Also, it says that I would have upper and lower control arms but I was worried how that would affect the ride. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Since you have a sport the DJM kit will not work with your truck. You have torsion bars and due to that you wont be able to lower the truck without some major modifications. You could bring it down about 1" in front safely. The rear you can lower with a flip kit, but again its a sport I would just leave it alone.
