They had a Torch Red one with bed rails, but I liked Redfire better. Anyway, I already have a tonneau cover coming.

dude...seriously...08+ 4x4's sit from the factory at the same height as a 07 and older 2wd coil sprung truck! I literally looked under Marie's '08 the first time I saw it...JUST to confirm that there was a front axle and a transfer case! lol.

Marieeeeee.....do you have the same steps as the redish truck posted earlier?? I thought yours were like 'nerf' bars...round tubular steps.

EDIT: nevermind. answered my own question...

The factory bed rails are ugly. I had the Putco pop-up rails on my old truck.

My 02 with 31s and no lift almost looks like a monster compared to my dad's stock 08. I'll try and get a pic of the two of them side by side.

Tell me about it... I just about cried when I realized how short it was... Shane didn't believe me it was 4wd and that's the reason I even left the 4x4 stickers on... same height as the 2007 2wd.... someday I'll take more pics next to that truck again so I can feel taller... hehe

F* it I might look into a slightly used 09 Supercab Sport, either 2 or 4 door it'll have an SOHC. This way i'll get it at a depreciated price hehe.

Anyway, Swapping 4x4 suspension parts (2.5 blocks; #1 T-bars?) from an -'07 to an '08+ should get the height back.

If you want to buy new or almost new, now is the time to do it. Crazy deals out there to be had. My dad paid $26k for his '08 in June and just a few weeks ago the same dealer he bought the truck from was advertising 2008 B4000's for $18 888.

I know right but I owe $8k on a '02 Taurus lol! Chances to buy a truck I'd have to sell my car through CL 1st instead of some Stealership offering $3k.

You'd probably be lucky to see 5 or 6k for an 02 Taurus sold privately.

Owing 8k still?! wowwww

Got her 2 years ago for $10k, Fully loaded SEL with a 24v Duratec 3.0 V6. Since the esp warranty expired, i'm keeping an eye on it, til I feel like selling her. It's been a reliable ride so i'll keep it awhile. It's only the interest that kills me lol.

'08+ = 1.25-1.5" rear blocks(dont remember which). And either clocked lower control arm torsion bar socket AND/OR torsion keys were clocked as well to lower the fronts down.

IF i were to ever get one, i'd do a '07 and older key, #1 bar, AND lower control arms in addition to the 2.5" rear blocks from the earlier models.
