2006 heater core/coolant leak
2006 ford ranger, 4.0, 4x4, auto. I smelled a coolant leak this morning, saw it dripping on the passenger side cat. I could not see any leak. I put the pressure tester on it when I got home, I can't really see that good, but it looks like antifreeze is dripping out of the AC condensate drain. Will a bad heater core on a later model ranger usually leak there? I've always known a bad heater core to drip inside

That would be an odd spot for coolant leak.
Heater core is inside the cab and lower, so not likely to leak up, but...........a pin hole leak can spray out.
So system doesn't hold pressure if you let it sit?
If not get a hose coupler and pull off both heater core hoses and connect them together, then pressure test again
If it holds pressure then yes, heater core is the problem/leak point
