WOW, Just about everything needed for my 01 Edge, is found here. I know it has been quite a while since visiting BUT I can tell you yesterday when my IP airbag lamp went 'crazy', I just had to consult the forum. So, was getting a code 47 (4 flashes then 7 flashes) 7 times then steady bulb, I had visions of a helluva repair bill (sort of queasy about airbags and the premature detonation of said airbag(s). Anyway, a simple SEARCH found the culprit (passenger side 'retractor' connector problem), BUT I wasn't sure it was the seat location connector OR the side lower 'retractor' which was causing it. So, what do I do? I pulled the seatbelt out of the door pillar three times making sure the locking mechanism was catching it each time (that centrifugal pendulum lock assembly), and that it fully and easily retracted through its entire length. Then I moved to the underside of the seat and disconnected the connector (looking into the one end for any oxidation or corrosion), and then just connected/disconnected three or four times. BINGO, the forum saved me AGAIN! Thanks prior posters for the correct diagnosis and 'fix'!
