Running a 12.50 tire on a 7-7.5 inch wide wheel has been done a countless number of times. I've done it, and at the correct PSI, the tire will wear fine.

The 12.5 inch tire will be an inch wider inside. crank your steering wheel to one side and see if you have an inch of room. You will need a second person to hold the steering wheel while cranked. You will also want to account for the loss of tread on the current tires.

Just go ahead and buy them. If they don't fit correctly, give them to me, and then buy something else LOL

You will be just fine. Just get 10.5s. It really is the most practical size for a ranger. a 12.5 is honestly only good for sand, and it sucks everywhere else. The 10.5 will do snow and other terrains much better since you can put more power on the ground. You will be happy, no doubt in my mind.

saw a bodylifted ranger today at a dealership with 12.50s on alcoas. looked pretty good. The tires are for sure ballooned though.

you can see how the tread contact in this.

why would you raise your cg, then put offroad tires on a frame and suspension thats only stock height?
