so my gfs mom just bought a 2000 4x4 f250 diesel to pull her big *** horse trailer. well, the tires are bald and need replacing. she wants me to find a decent tire that lasts several thousand miles, is good on the road, and wont get her stuck when she has to go off the road when hauling. oh, they cant be an arm and a leg either. and no mudders. i was lookin into the silent armors, terra grapplers, and some kelly safaris i saw at the local shop. they are goin on stock 16" aluminum wheels with the holes like mickey thompsons. the stock wheels that actually look good. and the tires have to be at or near stock. like 265/75/16s. idk anything about huge trucks like that so i figured id let the ones on here that know what tires are good for them chime in

BFG A/T. They wear like steel, but have great performance in almost all conditions.

Otherwise, I'd say Terra Grapplers. I can't remember the number of ply sidewall they are, but I know a lot of guys that have them and love then. Otherwise I'd suggest the Firestone Destination AT.

I see the Destination AT's on a LOT of Ford Super Duty trucks, almost all in the commercial field (construction, landscaping, etc). They have great ratings, supposedly wear pretty well, and are probably the best buy for the money, of the 3 tires I mentioned.

 

yea, the bfg ats are quite expensive lol. the cheapest i found were terra graps at 861 out the door and the kelly safaris for 692 out the door and both are really good tires
