I'll be honest.. with 4wheel drive, get a blower, stay away from the bottle. Sure, it can work, yes Rich has done it ( and done it quite well at that! ) But if your going to invest a grand into a setup, RPCaster makes an M90 kit for a small amount more that you can use both on and offroad.

If you have a 5 speed manual tranny.. I'd agree with D. If it's an auto you could do it for "cheap". But you'll need to adress tranny pressures.
Based on what I've seen anything more than a 35 shot and the tranny *needs* more pressure on all the shifts.
For example.. I was testing shift points and FORGOT to change the 1-2 shift pressures. WOW.. I thought I toasted the tranny. It basicly started the shift and just s-l-o-w-l-y went into 2nd gear. Then it dawned on me that the tune was not changed. I went in and added about XXpsi and the shifts were crisp again.
Even a 35 shot on a stock tune would cause the tranny to shift a little slow IMO. Not a killer.. but a little too slow for my liking.
