Superduty tow hook instal

Finally got these mounted. Big thanks to my friend james for the welding!

why did you do them vertical? I'd like some of the latest generation, they'd be beef. what year is this off of?

They look like a verticle version of mine. I agree about pushing them back and making them recessed.

Thanks for the comments. Not sure what year they came off of. @ klc to get unstuck of course?
We mocked them up a lot of different ways, i just kept coming back to this one.

Not bad. Looks pretty beefy. I probably would have mounted them horizontal though.

not a fan of the vertical mounting position. But i guess it'll help in recovering your little 2wd from the mud

Its a unique position to put them in. I like it because its different.

As long as it functions as a legit tow point, and it looks good to you, then voila!!
