$3000???? Do you really have THAT much credit comin' back? I love snap-on hand tools but I would look other places for stuff like welders and other power tools.. just my young-worthless $0.02

A Miller 250 (the one we used on Caseys truck) is just over 2 grand. Like they're saying a 212 Would be plenty for anything most of us would be building and its probably what I'll be getting once Byron decides he wants his welder back and I have to buy my own.

Matt, no I'm not paying 3k. The muscle mig he has was ordered the begining of the year for some guy, and the guy bailed. Well my snappy dealer got it on special during last years trade show in vegas (SEPT 08). They were on back order, and he didn't get it till Feb of this year. Then the guy bailed, so he's tryed to move it numerous times....and he already knew I was eyeballing it. He told me he'd let it go pretty cheap (certainly not 3 grand!) I'm waiting to hear back from him. But I spent like 3 hours last night looking at welders, and everyone is right, for the price I would spend (if I was to buy the snappy with cash) I could pretty much have a bad *** welder from Lincoln, or Miller. I do like the 211 and the 212. Nice setup. Decisions decisions......hahahah not....

I wouldn't get it, your paying for the decal on the side of the welder.
