take it over to ACC, they have one in the welding class, have the teacher cut it for you, also there are plenty of metal art shops around town, find one of those places, they do wonders with a plasma cutter...

Well got the back trimmed up and put the first coat of paint on, with a little special touch on the front skid. Got to love that rust is the same color as burnt orange.
After painting one thing you realize how bad you need to paint everything. I wanted to but don't have enough paint on me. I might paint the frame this weekend and put a new coat on the bumper.

Everyone is giving you great props and some good advice. In addition to the holes drilled in the t-case plate you might want to just add some thick weld beads running parallel to the frame of the truck. This will help with "sliding" off of obstacles and such and most likely the weld beads will take a lot of wear and tear instead of the whole face of the plate!!! $.02

You have to have the bolt in there first then slide the skid plate through it or you can't get to it.
I don't know if that explanation helps you any haha

my trucks gonna be wheeled for the first time (assuming i get parts in time)
