Rear bumber mock-up

Yeah Matt I'm not totally understanding that either right now. I kinda got the idea after seeing yours but wanted to incorporate a few more things into it. But it will definitely be used for protection.

Yea ive read that thread on that sounds like a lot of work good luck. I was wondering if you could throw up a pic of how your license plate was mounted so i can get an idea. Thanks

As for how my tag is mounted, here are some pictures.
My camera is being dumb lately and wont focus right.
Sorry it is dirty, I had it out a little the other night. The tag swings for the most part. but sometimes when I have to back out of something it binds up and shoves it in the ground. I bent the tag a few times, I just need to build a frame around the bottom of the tag so stuff can't grab a hold of the tag itself, just the bracket.
Oh btw, I wanted my bumper to come out past the sides so It would protect the corners of the bed and the tails to a point.

a mount like that on my bumper would have broke off a longg time ago. the bottom of that bumper has been drug across just about everything lol
I took a piece of 16ga steel, cut it out to the size of the plate, drilled 2 holes in the top to hold the plate, welded bolts in the holes and then welded the whole thing to the bumper with some reinforcement..

well i dont go off roading that often. or at all. so its more for looks. the only thing is, my friends and i like to love tap each-other. by saying love-tap, i mean at a red-light, we will hit each-others car. with a little bit of force. so i would need the bumper to stick out a few inches in the rear. not out to the sides. stupid, yes. fun. of course.

Yea i think its not cheap but my dad works at a factory and they are constantly tearing out pipe and they can usually bring stuff home as long as they are not using it to make money or sell. So i think i might be able to get it done a little cheaper. I priced the stuff for the bumper like the lights, and hitch accessories and that came out to around 60 bucks. so a i just need to add the price of the extra metal that i need.

Now if somebody that knows how to use photo shop could edit this bumper to what i had my picture drawn out as and the other suggested picture that would be really cool. I was wanting to put these lights in it http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/w..._352681_352681 and then the hitch and the the shackles and mounts. If somebody could do that i would greatly appreciate it.
