Next Question - Frame Width - Bumper Fitment ?

I believe that all ranger rear bumpers from ’93 to ’12 interchange without any reworking.

Is this true or did something change along the line ?

I believe you're correct. I've seen them mixed and matched between generations (02 on a 94, etc), and no one has mentioned anything that had to be modified.

Yeah they all swap around. The front valances are all different but the main bumper assembly is the same.

I am having a rear bumper made and thought they all fit, forward and backwards but wanted to make sure.
The guy has a rear bumper from the local yard he is using for a template for the mounting and needed an absolute answer.

Thanks for the replies.

I will post pictures when I am able.

He is a fabricator and he couldn't figure out whether or not a bumper fits? I wouldn't want him working on my truck.

You would be right but he is in OK and me in MA.
He usually handles Jeeps and didn’t have any Rangers available so when I sent him the plans for the new rear bumper his first thought was to get a JY bumper to assure fitment and I agreed. His next question was which bumpers fit what trucks and I told him all interchanged but I would post up a question on this site and ask to be sure.

I already have one of his front bumpers and based on his work on it there is no question about his ability, just something new for him and he wants to get it right the first time.

I am hopping to get pictures of the new bumper to post up and also that he might get some business out of it.
