get yourself a 4.5" angle grinder and a buttload of cut off wheels.. cut off wheels are cheap. when you buy them get like 10 at a time.. works awesome... a chop saw with a metal blade aint gonna work if your cutting sheet metal type steel..
the angle grinder is cheapest. the other options are, a plasma cutter or oxy-a torch but they are over a 1000 bucks each..

Get an oxy acetaline torch. Its going to be a hell of alot easier on you, and cheaper in the long run.
I use cutoff wheels ALOT at work, and anything over 1/8th just chews the **** out of the blades.
You can get a cheap cutting torck for like 200 bucks, then rent the bottles for the oxygen and aceteline. I think the places around here charge like 40 for oxygen and 35 for aceteline.

I am currently fabbing one very similar to wolfmans with some slight changes.
Debating on keeping access to fx4 tow hook since I will already have access to my tow hitch, my lights in the bumper will be aftermarket lights (not a fan of factory fogs) and my top is square tube.
The only part I cardboarded was the top plate that bumps down at an angle and the wrap arounds to the sides. Everything else you can take measurements and trim if need be.
Plasma cutter helped a lot
I would recommend 1/8" if you are fabbing similar to woffmans, I dont have my mounting reinforcements in yet and im at 67lbs
I did you a really hard steel so it's really dense.
