Brush Guard

WAAG Grill/Brush Guard

Google Search for WAAG they have good looking Grill/Brush Guards and they hold up very well. Lots of users on here that have used them loved them.

If you want to add a winch to it, get the Warn winch bumper, its the only one that I know of and have seen that will mount a winch

What are you going to do with your bull bar? I'd be interested in buying it soon? If you were interested, would it fit my truck? I have an 02 4x4 XLT with a body lift.

Regular brushguards will rip right off when a winch is used on them because the mounts on them are little flimsy things that won't hold anything. Look at the warn line, or the mount that a member on here made, Levino made it, I forget his username now.

i need one i can mount a winch on, but i do have a good idea on how to mount it to the frame rails and the guard to keep from messing it up.

You can not use any old grill guard when using a winch, the grill guard above is not able to handle a winch. There are only two companies that I know of that make Grill Guards that fit a Ranger and are also Winch capable.

The only thing you can use with a Winch is Warn and Mile Marker. Ramsey and Smittybilt do not make any mounting systems for the ranger other than the multi-mount set ups...if they even make that...not sure.

WARN part #'s...the warn site only goes to 2003...it will fit, so dont worry about that.

OPTION 1

Grill Guard
http://warn.iwebcat.com/_Members/loo...Flag=&hdnWN=1&

Winch Carrier(This link isnt working...The part # is 29165)
http://warn.iwebcat.com/_Members/lookups/partdetail.asp

OPTION 2

or the front hitch
http://warn.iwebcat.com/_Members/loo...Flag=&hdnWN=1&

if you do the front hitch set up you will need the mult-mount...
http://www.warn.com/truck/mounting-s...ti_mount.shtml

Mile Marker (Not sure whats included with the Mile Marker stuff)

Grill Guard w/ winch plate
http://www.milemarker.com/winch-guards.html

Front Hitch(Used w/ mult-mount set up)
http://www.milemarker.com/front-mount-receivers.html

This is what the Warn set up looks like...

Without Brush Guards (I use to have the Warn set up)

With Brush Guards

I don't know if this is valid or not, but WAAG doesn't have a listing for newer rangers. I know Robin over at GE special ordered them before..

link isn't working.

Thats Tom Barcia's, an old member of this site. For the one I mentioned, which is pretty much that one, here is a thread on it. you can download the instructions on the 2nd page: https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ad.php?t=39989

You can find some pictures on eguy208's car domain of that mount and a brush guard in use on the same truck.

I have the Manik also but ran into a problem with it last weekend. Hit a rock with the bottom bar while crossing a ditch and bent one side in going to be tough to get it to straiten back out. Its a good looking brush guard but it wont take a lot of off road abuse.

you'll need a good strong bumper to put that winch on
