wow that looks so kick ***! you should just hit all the sheet metal with a grinder and clear coat it so it has the bare metal look

I did the first test run today, in the parking lot at work. Fastest I was able to hit was 35, due to the size of the lot, but at that speed, My driven clutch was just starting to change speeds, It has much more travel to go before it tops out.

I have a lot of tuning to do. I'm going to try a smaller sized carb. I think this one may be oversized for the motor. My brakes work but not amazing, need adjustments and rebleeding.

Motor runs pretty well, Sounds beastly, but I think I can improve the performance with a better matched carburator.

I've been thinking silver on black rims maybe. I've changed my mind on it a dozen times, I really cant decide.

As far as tuning, I changed out the 38mm carb in exhange for a 26mm, Which seemed to match the intake better, and was slightly larger than the stock carb. The 38 was just too big I think.

It runs tons better, It actually idles down, it will idle down to almost nothing and I can actually adjust this one, and see results.
Adjusting the bigger one seemed to have no effect on it, it either ran or it didn't.

The smaller carb also allowed me to mount it back up under the tank, which also allowed me to use a much shorter intake adapter, 2-3" long instead of 6-7"

Overall the new carb just works out better, it even has a stiffer throttle spring in it.

I have bought some different sized sprockets for my jackshaft, to experiment with my acceleration\top speed ratio.

I have been making progress, just slow lately, No time during the week, then I usually have stuff to do over the weekend and it keeps getting pushed off.

Also Progress has slowed since it has been ridable.

Got some switches and such ordered to get started on the wiring, but still unsure what to do about hand controls. I know what I want to do but its somewhat expensive. 12$ per push button and 4-5$ for every latching relay, and I have 4 or 5 things I want to use those switches and relays with.

Ik what you mean about not havning time. I have been going to school and working 7 days a week for a few weeks and i'm ready for a day off. lol
Glad you got it tuned right.
And those prices don't seem too bad really, just save up til you have enough. You don't want to go cheap on the electric portion of the build. lol

Theres a guy on other forums, has two or three v-twin briggs bikes, claim they run over 100mph, and get 80mpg.

I will see what mine gets soon
