I have a Comet Torque converter on it, Running into a 90 gearbox, and then to shaftdrive...
Its probably a bit cumbersome, but i can always switch to chain drive if I want.
Chain, belt and shaft drive lol. I was going to just run the torque converter to the gear box directly, But I did it this way so I could change my gearing if I wanted. If it doesnt work out, I will change it out to chain drive.
Before someone asks, I'm not using those headers, I had built those for something else before I decided to build a bike with it.
I started the bike the other day, bumped the throttle a bit, the bike tried taking off, We had two people hanging on to it, and bent the crap out of the bottom shaft out of the box. So I've put in a bearing on the other side of that shaft, I thought it might need it before, but for some reason didnt do it.
Its a fairly torque-ey engine, And by the way it was trying to take off the other day, I think it will run just fine.
I have found one or two bikes built with similiar briggs engines, reported to run top speed of 100. Which I would be Tickled for it to run that fast.

Some updates,
Switched out the tank for a the correct tank that will fit much better.
Started fabbing a fender from scratch, its a simple flat shaped fender.
Today, I started on the Exhaust
Made the flanges,
Started cutting and fitting the pipes together from the mandrel bend kit I ordered.
Also, on the way,
I'm ditching the yamaha headlight for one of these.
