2nd Annual Blue Lake Ranger Meet Snapshots! August 22nd, 2009 (56k, No no no no!)
Lots of photo's! Lots of nice cameras, and some tripod action happening out there - nice toasty warm day, finally cooled down near the end of it; Post what you got guys and gals!
Was a very fun meet, lots of good chat - good barbaque 'ala Shane's portable grill, lots of new and old rangers - all different types! We actually had more lowered trucks then lifted ones when I first got there myself around ~12:50-1:30ish give or take.
Will edit this and add in pictures, taking a bit to upload them all!
Lots of respect to these guys.. that's a long load alright!
My hanging mirror buddy.. a rubber turkey! Watching this thing shake and wiggle around when my truck is idling is enough to cure many a sour moods.. found it from a group leaving it behind at work.. mine now!
The turn off for me, heading on I84 west, just getting into town - Blue Lake is fairly easy to get to out here..!
Last but not least - front page worthy of Rangers.. Shane with his R-F shirt, a ranger badged supercharged truck (Jeremy's) - the original Grabber Orange truck with said owner, Marie, and some attitude! Great meet everyone, bunch of great folks went this year!

nice pics its good to see the weather cleared up for you guys. it wasnt looking so good up here this morning when I left the krispy kreme..... Mike how much tire shine did you use on that back tire and how long did it take you to do it? Every time I wash my jeep I think about doing mine but it looks like way too much work lol.

The back tire is actually 100% brand new, have never mounted it, hasnt been weathered - I put jsut as much on it as I did on my other tires - usually spray in circles to the outside lugs, so a normal amount - Literally its spray on and let dry - takes less then 5 minutes to do a truck. Well, make that 15 - let it sit for a bit, then go through with a paper towel to wiep up yoru wheels so it doesnt leave any residue

I realize most of the pics of my own truck are all with the hood up - was show casing the dual bulb HID's and forgot to put it all down.. that, and the headers, intake, coilpack.. bleh, little questions and some show and tell here and there - its all good though!
And for the life of me I cant remember teh name of the owner of the 2wd white ranger there.. for some reason Aaron strikes me as right - I think that is his name?

The VT Tirgate works wonders man!
Its funky looking at first, takes a few minutes to make it grow on you - but having that full size spare fully out of the bed is like magic for me!
And yes, it does block a good chunk of my rear view mirror - but I have 2 other mirrors that work perfectly fine

I just got home. I went down to the mall south of Portland.
378 miles later, haha, I'm super close to the 225,000 mile marker! This truck never dies.
I had a really good time, stoked for the next meet. I can't wait too see more pictures! I love the new black corners!
Well, I gotta hit the sack, work at 10am, hard life at McDonalds, lol.

Yeah, agian the sucky part with a bunch of the northern folks from Canada is that they werent able to get passports; really sucks - Hopefully we can plan something out with a weekend camping trip, maybe hit up some easy trails so there wont be damage but jsut a fun drive through the backroads.
